From the USAF Academy, Venturer sophomore pinning the shoulder boards on fellow Venturer after basic cadet training. Both girls are graduates of Crew 520 in Ft Walton Beach, FL (sponsored by St Simons On-the-Sound Episcopal church), graduates of Choctawhatchee HS, and graduates of the International Baccalaureate Program.

But, now for the rest of the story (with apologies to Paul Harvey). Both ladies are waiting for a fellow Venturer male from Crew 520 who will start basic cadet training at USAFA in about 5 weeks. It's a cool fact that three kids in three years from the only Crew in the district will be cadets at the Academy.
